Decorating Your Home for Christmas

I stained my wooden kitchen cabinets with those colored window jelly clings, how can i fix this?

So this Christmas, I thought it would look neat to stick those window Jelly clings to my WOODEN kitchen cabinets. About an hour later i decided to look at them, and realized they have quickly stained them! I began to panic, (this is our new home we have bought) I didn’t want to take them off, for the fear of everyone seeing, so i left them on. They stained more.
YES I’m stupid for doing this, but yet i wasn’t thinking. If anyone has any way to fix this, please let me know!

i have a bad feeling that the dye in the clings acted like a stain. hopefully it only went in as a far as the clearcoat, and not through to the wood.you could possible very lightly sand those areas, then lightly brush with polyurethane in the appropriate matching sheen. ugh…it will be touchy though.
